Spend Arbor Day at Holden Arboretum Celebrate trees at one of the latest botanical gardens in the United States: the Holden Arboretum. Covering 3,500 acres in the neighboring town of Kirtland, the Holden Arboretum offers free admission on Arbor Day and gives every guest a tree seedling (while supplies last). Thousands of migratory birds stop and rest at Magee Marsh before continuing their journey north. Located at OH-2 in Oak Harbor, the Magee Marsh is managed by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
