Engine
Two engines are offered for the 2023 Chevy Tahoe. The base engine across most trims is a 5.2-liter V-8 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission putting out 255 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. The High Country offers a 6.2-liter V-8 as the standard offering, an option for all the other trims, which produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Leading off the performance-enhancing features, the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with traction controls senses wheel slippage. It will transfer the power wheels that still have grip, keeping you in command. You also get a mechanical limited-slip differential, hill start assist, and a smooth ride suspension.
